Enhancements

The following is a list of enhancements implemented in NetVault Backup Plug‑in for Hyper‑V 12.0.

Updated the plug-in to include virtual machine (VM) metadata, such as the name of the host server, number of processors, BIOS settings, and so on, for backups. During restore, the plug-in applies the same settings to the restored VM.

Added support for Differential Backups on Windows Server 2016.

Added support for backing up and restoring VMs that reside on Windows mount points.

Added support for catalog search.
