Foglight for Virtualization EE includes a trial license. No extra licensing is required for Foglight Integration for OpenManage Essentials.
You can activate the Foglight for Virtualization EE license on the Homes > Environment Overview dashboard.
When a trial license expires, the trial product stops collecting data. You still have access to historical data. If you want to continue collecting data, you need to purchase a commercial license. If you want to stop collecting data before the trial license expires, deactivate your monitoring agents using the Agent Status dashboard. For more information, see the Foglight Administration and Configuration Guide.
To purchase a full license, contact your Foglight sales representative. You can install purchased licenses either during the 45-day trial or after the trial period has expired. You install and manage licenses using the Manage Licenses dashboard.

Foglight for OpenManage Essentials contains an agent that communicates with the public API of the OpenManage Essentials server. After the agent is installed, you can begin seeing the OME hardware data in the Foglight for Virtualization EE dashboards.
