Resolved issues and enhancements

This 6.0.0 release of Foglight Hybrid Cloud Manager accompanies the release of Foglight Evolve 6.0.0. This release includes the following resolved issues and enhancements:

 

Foglight Hybrid Cloud Manager for Azure

  • Fixed an issue where actively used storage accounts are being reported as unused. (FOG-1705)
  • Fixed an issue where some of the VM Memory Metrics may not be collected (FOG-1645)

 

Foglight Hybrid Cloud Manager for AWS

  • Fixed an issue where costs were not collected due to empty Region info under AWS Cost usage report (FOG-1161)

 

Foglight Hybrid Cloud Manager for Google Cloud

  • Fixed issue with error message being displayed when clicking Release Lockbox in the Google Cloud Setup Wizard

Known Issue

FOG-686 The resource daily cost sometimes does not match the cost of Azure Portal.

AZ-458

Currently Azure Agent does not support monitoring Azure classic VMs and the related entities (Storage accounts, Resource groups, and so on).

AZ-296

If you use scripts to configure the same subscription's cost metrics are monitored by multiple agents, the cost metrics might be collected repeatedly.

Workaround: Perform either of the following:

  • Use the Configure Subscription Cost to Monitor option in the Edit Agent Properties dialog box to configure the monitored cost metrics.

Or

  •  Check your scripts and ensure that the cost metrics of any subscription are monitored by one agent only.
