Dell EqualLogic PS Series Array Groups

Foglight for Storage Management uses SNMP to collect information about Dell EqualLogic PS Series array groups. Foglight for Storage Management requires a separate agent for each Dell EqualLogic PS Series array group. The agent uses the array group’s SNMP community name to collect and organize information about the groups.For more information, see the following topics:

Configuring Agents to Monitor Dell EqualLogic Arrays

During this procedure you create an agent for an EqualLogic PS Series array group. The dialog allows you to create multiple agents for other array groups that use the same credentials.

EMC CLARiiON CX Series Arrays (CLI)

Foglight for Storage Management uses the NaviSecCLI utility on the EMC Management Host to collect data from EMC CLARiiON CX Series arrays. When accessing specific CLARiiON arrays, Foglight for Storage Management uses the Navisphere management application (via the NaviSecCLI) for collection. Foglight for Storage Management requires an EMC Management Host user account to access Navisphere, as well as a Navisphere account to access the individual arrays.
