Adding and editing capture groups

To add or edit a capture group:

On the navigation panel, under Dashboards, click APM > Configure > Traffic Capture > Capture Group.

Do one of the following:

To define a new capture group, click Add.

•

To edit an existing capture group, click its Edit

icon.

Testing capture groups

By testing the capture groups, you can verify that the sniffers and archivers within your capture groups are configured correctly.

To test a capture group:

On the navigation panel, under Dashboards, click APM > Configure > Traffic Capture > Capture Group.

The Test Capture Group message box appears, containing the results of the test.

If the status is Ok, you are done. Click Close.

For any other status, review the Details column to understand what issues may need to be addressed and click Close. Edit the capture group to correct the issues.

Adding and copying sessionizing policies

To add or copy a sessionizing policy:

In the navigation panel, under Dashboards, click APM > Configure > Traffic Capture > Sessionizing Policies.

Do one of the following:

•

To add a new sessionizing policy, click Add.

•

To copy an existing policy, click its Copy

icon.

In the dialog box, specify a name and description, and select a template from the Type list.

Editing sessionizing policies

To edit a sessionizing policy:

In the navigation panel, under Dashboards, click APM > Configure > Traffic Capture > Sessionizing Policies.

In the row containing the policy you want to edit, click Edit
