Category Events Page

Note: Available for Oracle 10g and later.

The Category Events page contains a single table which shows statistics associated with wait events for the cluster coordination category.

To open the Category Events page

Select the Spotlight on Oracle RAC connection in the Spotlight Browser.
Click Cluster | Overhead Page | Category Events.

Note: Click Activity | Waiting Events Page to show wait events in other categories.

Grid: Events in the category

Column	Description
Event	The specified event type that contributes to the cluster overhead.
Total waits	The number of times that the current event type occurred during the current Spotlight session.
Waits/s	How many times the specified event occurs per second.
% Total waits	The amount of time consumed by the specified event as a percentage of the total cluster overhead time.
Total wait time	The amount of time that has been consumed by the specified event during the current Spotlight session.
Wait time/s	The amount of time consumed per second by the specified event.
% Total time waited	The amount of time consumed per second by the specified event as a percentage of the total cluster overhead time.
Avg Wait	The average time taken for a single wait event of the specified type.
