Enabling the SNMP Protocol

Spotlight is unable to display Open Ports information if the SNMP protocol has not been installed on:

The Windows machine under diagnosis, AND
The machine running the Spotlight client.

Enabling the SNMP protocol

Open the Control Panel | Programs and Features.
Click Turn Windows features on or off.
Enable Simple Network Management Protocol.
Follow the installation instructions.
