SGA Utilization Page

The SGA Utilization page shows how the System Global Area is utilized.

To open the SGA Utilization page

  1. Select the Spotlight on Oracle RAC connection in the Spotlight Browser.
  2. Click Configuration & Memory | SGA Utilization.

SGA Utilization Chart

The SGA Utilization chart shows the amount of space allocated to the memory pools (For example: buffer cache, java pool, large pool, shared pool, In-Memory column store). Each pool is further broken down into SGA component (For example the space used by SQL area, recycle pool, memory that is free).

SGA Utilization Grid

The grid shows how the SGA is utilized by displaying the size of each SGA component in the memory pool.

Column Description

Pool

The memory pool. The SGA component is in this memory pool.

Name

The name of the SGA component.

Bytes (KB)

The size of the SGA component.

Note: Oracle In-Memory is available for Oracle 12c Release 1 (12.1.0.2) and above. Data is displayed for Oracle instances where In-Memory is available and has been enabled. In-Memory is disabled by default.
