The CPU Virtualization Overhead alarm is activated when Virtualization Overhead is greater than a threshold and CPU Usage is 95% or higher. A combination of high CPU utilization and elevated ready time indicates that the virtual machine is being starved of CPU due to competition from other virtual machines.
When this alarm is active, see the administrator of your virtual environment for ways to address this issue.
