Exchange Servers view

This embedded view is part of the Exchange Servers Explorer Summary (All Exchange Servers) view, Exchange Sites Explorer Summary (All Sites) view, and Exchange Site Explorer Summary view.
 
Table 81. Exchange Servers view
Description
This sortable list contains the following information for each Exchange server in your environment that is being monitored.
Data displayed
State. Indicates the highest alarm triggered for each server.
 
Name. Displays the name of each Exchange server.
 
IP Address. Displays the IP address of each server.
 
Roles. Displays the Exchange roles being performed by each server.
NOTE: Multi-Role indicates that the server is performing multiple Exchange roles. Hover your cursor over the Multi-Role entry to display a list of the roles being performed by the server.
 
CPU. Displays the current CPU utilization on the server.
 
Memory. Displays the current memory utilization on the server.
 
Exchange Version. Displays the version of Exchange installed on each server.
 
Operating System. Displays the Windows® operating system running on the server.

Host Monitor view

This embedded view is part of the Exchange Server Environment Summary view, which is displayed when an individual Exchange server is selected in the Object Tree view on the Exchange Environment dashboard.

NOTE: When the host machine is a virtual machine that is being monitored by Foglight for VMware or Foglight for Hyper-V, this view is replaced with two views: one that displays the name of the virtual machine and one that displays the name of the host server.
 
Table 82. Host Monitor view
Description
This view displays the name of the target server from which data is being collected.

Host Monitored. Displays the Host Monitor dashboard that provides a real-time overview of how the host is performing. For more information about the Host Monitor dashboard, see the Foglight User Guide or online help.
NOTE: When the host is a virtual machine that is being monitored by Foglight for VMware or Foglight for Hyper-V, this link drills down to the Explorer Summary view for the selected server. There is also an additional link that drills down to the metrics for the host of the virtual machine. Both of these drill down views are part of the Foglight for VMware or Foglight for Hyper-V cartridges.

Hub Transport Features view

This embedded view is part of the Hub Transport Role Explorer Summary view, which is displayed when you select Hub Transport in the Exchange Infrastructure view on the Exchange Explorer dashboard. The metrics displayed depend on the Hub Transport feature selected in the Role Features State view.
 
Table 83. Hub Transport Features view - Journaling
Description
When Journaling is selected in the Hub Transport tile, this view displays the following information for the server selected in the server list.
Data displayed
•
Transport Agent. Displays the name of the transport agent.
 
•
Total Agent Invocations. Displays the total number of invocations since that last restart.
 
•
Avg. Agent Processing Time/sec. Displays the average agent processing time in seconds per event.

Table 84. Hub Transport Features view - Local Messages
Description
When Local Messages is selected in the Hub Transport tile, this view displays the following metrics for the server selected in the server list.
Data displayed
Mailbox Delivery Queues. This graph charts the following metrics over the specified time interval:
•
Active Delivery Queue Length. Shows the number of messages waiting to be delivered to a mailbox server.
•
Retry Delivery Queue Length. Shows the number of messages waiting to be retried for delivery to a mailbox server.

Table 85. Hub Transport Features view - Message Submission
Description
When Message Submission is selected in the Hub Transport tile, this view displays the following metrics for the server selected in the server list.
Data displayed
Submission Queue. This graph charts the number of messages in the submission queue that are waiting to be processed for delivery.
 
Message Submitted/sec. This graph charts the number of messages submitted each second during the specified time interval.
 
Total Messages Submitted. This graph charts the total number of messages submitted.

Description
When Remote Messages is selected in the Hub Transport tile, this view displays the following metrics for the server selected in the server list.

Remote Delivery Queues. This graph charts the following metrics over the specified time interval:
