Toad Data Studio 1.1 - Release Notes

The Pick a Source Dialog

If you use Tools | tool name to open one of the tools listed below, Toad opens the Pick a Source ... dialog. This dialog allows you to select a source for data and then send the data to the selected tool.

This dialog is useful if you would like to first select the tool to use and then select a connection and data. New users may prefer this method as it presents all the available options for selecting data.

In addition to using the Pick a Source ... dialog, you can also send data directly to the tool from the Object Explorer or a data grid. Both of these workflows are enabled for the following modules.

Note: Publishing to Intelligence Central is available in the Toad Data Point Professional edition only and requires access to a Toad Intelligence Central server.
