Toad Data Studio 1.1 - Installation Guide

Data Services Options

You can define a proxy server to use for Data Services connections (Business Intelligence and NoSQL connections). If you define a proxy server, it will be used by each of your connections in the Business Intelligence and NoSQL connection groups. See About Business Intelligence and NoSQL Data Sources for more information.

Important:

  • If you connect to a Business Intelligence or NoSQL data source using a proxy, you must define the proxy in Toad.
  • You can only define one proxy in Toad. The same proxy will be used for all Business Intelligence and NoSQL connections.

To specify a Data Services proxy server

  1. Select Tools | Options | Database | Data Services.
  2. Select the Specify Proxy Server checkbox.
  3. Enter the connection information, including the address of the server that you want to specify as the proxy server.

Tips:

  • To navigate to the directory where option settings are stored, click the Application Data Directory link in the About dialog (Help | About).

  • To search for a partial or complete option name or value, use the Search field at the bottom of each Options page. See About Options for more information.
