Add Operators

Review the following additional information about adding an operator:

Notification options

Select whether to notify the operator using email, Net send, or a pager. Click Test to send a test message using the selected format.

Pager activation schedule

Select an option for paging an operator:

Always active—Select this option to send a page anytime day or night.
Only active during following times—Select this option to send a page only at specified times.

If an operator receives a number of notifications, it may be useful to view the notifications by alert or job and quickly change the notification method.

Tip: Click Notifications to set additional operator options.
