Appendix G – Enabling Automatic logon with Active Directory Authentication

In order for automatic logon using Active Directory authentication to work with Evolve, you must make same configuration changes to your Site in IIS.

This can only happen after the Site has been created.

IIS installations do not include the Windows Authentication feature by default.

In order to complete the instructions below, your IIS should be configured to support Windows Authentication.

You can add this feature to IIS, if it is not installed, by using Programs and Features in the Control Panel to Turn Windows features on or off.

To do this:

1.Run IIS Manager

2.Expand the Default Web Site node

3.Select the ‘evolve’ application

4.In the central window, in the Features View, double-click Authentication

5.Right-click on Forms Authentication and select Disable

6.Right-click on Windows Authentication and select Enable.
