Lock List Utilization Percent graph

The Lock List Utilization Percent graph shows the percentage of total lock list memory being used in the database over consecutive monitoring intervals. Spotlight calculates this percentage from the ratio of the amount of lock list memory currently being used to the amount of memory allocated to the lock list (determined by the value of the LOCKLIST database configuration parameter).

If this percentage is consistently close to or at 100 percent, the number of escalations for applications in the database probably increases. You might need to increase the value of the LOCKLIST parameter or MAXLOCKS parameter. (The MAXLOCKS parameter value is the maximum amount of lock list memory that each application can hold before lock escalation begins.)
