SQL Criteria Wizard

Use the SQL Criteria wizard to select, retrieve and sort the SQL statements that are consuming the most system resources for the current connection.

To start the wizard

  1. Open a Top SQL grid. (SQL & Application Workload | Top SQL Page, or I/O |SQL Page)
  2. Click Set SQL criteria. Alternatively, right click the Top SQL grid and select Set SQL Criteria.

Classic or Standard Mode?

Mode Description

SQL Criteria Wizard (Classic)

The mode used before Spotlight on Oracle 5.0.

SQL Criteria Wizard (Standard)

The standard mode used by Spotlight on Oracle 5.0 and later.

Notes:

  • Select Don't show this page again to bypass the first page of the wizard the next time you use it. Spotlight will assume the mode you choose this time is the mode you want next time.
  • To choose a different mode after you have chosen Don't show this page again, restart the wizard and click Back to view the first page of the wizard.
