Enhancements

The following is a list of enhancements implemented in NetVault Backup Plug‑in for SharePoint 12.1.

Issue ID

Added a Delete Backups from Temporary Directory Older than (days - 0=never) configuration option. This option lets you enable automatic deletion of the backup packages for successful Full Backups of a SharePoint Farm after a specified number of days. The default setting is 30 days. You can also disable deletion by using a setting of 0.

DNPSP-17, DNPSP-132 (MSS-115)

Added support for using the Microsoft-provided PowerShell cmdlets provided with SharePoint Server.

DNPSP-166

Validated support for using SharePoint Server 2016 with SQL Server 2017 and Windows Server 2016.

DNPSP-180

Validated support for a pure 64-bit version of the plug-in with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010 and SharePoint Server 2010.
