Title
StoragePoint solutions are not being deployed. Just-in-time (JIT) "Timeout error for solution deployment job." Installing Metalogix StoragePoint 4.2.0.1322 build. -
Description
Trying to install Metalogix StoragePoint 4.2.0.1322 with multiple errors and and installation failed.
Also attempt repairs and remove solutions but still encounter multiple errors and installation failed.
Error 1: Timeout error for: Solution deployment job
Error 2: Timeout error or Solution deployment job - Rollback successfully completed.

Cause
SharePoint Timer Service is not started on another index server and in the other servers within the same SharePoint Farm -
Resolution
- Check if there is another index server whereby the SharePoint service is not started, which affects this server where StoragePoint version 4.2 build is being installed.
- If there other servers within the same SharePoint farm, check if the SharePoint service is started in the other servers.
- The issue should be resolved by starting up the the SharePoint service on the index server and in other servers within the same SharePoint farm.
- If issue is still not resolved check the ULS logs with Verbose logging turned on.
Location of ULS logs: %CommonProgramFiles%\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\LOGS
The number is referring to SharePoint hive and is different for different SharePoint versions.
In this case, the number 15 is referring to SharePoint 2010.
