Error: (36) Name not found accessing external object property tempvar at line 7 in function uf_loaddata of object uo_ole_web_rte

I have changed my laptop recently and installed stat client for Windows in my new machine. Once, I log in to stat client, I get the below error message and the application is closing:

Error: (36) Name not found accessing external object property tempvar at line 7 in function uf_loaddata of object uo_ole_web_rte.

The option (RemoteWebControls=Yes) can be used for Stat Widows Client machines with high-security settings for Internet Explorer. This option will switch the location of the web-based Rich Text Editor (RTE) component, for CSR Description/Resolution, from a local file to Stat Central Agent.

Switching the RTE component’s location to the Stat Central Agent will allow client machines access to Stat’s CSR Description/Resolution component via Internet Explorer’s Trusted Sites security settings. By default, Stat Windows Client uses the component locally. The error you see happens when you use the RTE component locally.

Close Stat Windows Client and go to this folder location C:\ProgramData\Quest Software\Stat\6.3.0, and open the file called stat.ini.
In stat.ini add in the section [Options] the following line:

RemoteWebControls=Yes



After making the change in the file. go to the Windows Control Panel open the Internet Options, Trusted Sites, and add the Central Agent URL.
