ORA Apps - Error in log: "Connection refused to host: 127.0.0.1" , but Stat server is on differen
Description

Server connection is attempting to use an incorrect IP address. The following is found in the log file:

"javax.naming.CommunicationException [Root exception is java.rmi.ConnectException: Connection refused to host: 127.0.0.1;
nested exception is:
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused]"
Resolution

Run nslookup on the hostname that is in $OraAppsAgentHOME/conf/stat.conf file and confirm that the correct IP address was returned.

Run nslookup 127.0.0.1 on both the client and the server. This will show where each one goes to resolve this name.
