PS Option test connect gets System Error: Invalid User ID and password for signon
Description

Getting System Error: Invalid User ID and password for signon after upgrading PeopleTools while trying to Test Connect in PS Options. Logon to Apps Designer using the same PS OPRID credentials works fine.
Cause

User do not have all the proper permission for the oracle installation directory.
Resolution

RESOLUTION:
1. Run stat client as 'run as administrator'
or
2. Make sure that user have all the necessary permission under C:\app\oracle\product\client\bin directory for example.
