Our goal is to compare Oracle Forms object type between two EBS environments using the Object Compare Wizard Stat tool. After selecting any object or environment and hitting the Next button, we received the following error message:
Cause
Oracle Forms is a 32bit application.
Resolution
For the Object Compare Wizard to run successfully in Stat 6.2, we need to follow next criterias:
1. Stat Windows Client must be 32bit, as Oracle Forms is exclusively 32bit.
2. Oracle Client must be 32bit
Additional Information
Stat 6.3 will use Oracle Forms directly from the EBS environment, so we don't have to worry anymore about above criterias starting Stat 6.3.
