What changes need to be done to pb client, stat oa and sca after moving stat db? -
Description
I am going to be moving the stat db and I have a few questions. Once database is moved, what needs to be changed on the central agent side to update the new database? Also, what changes need to occur on the node agents? For the clients, all they will need to do is update their tnsnames.ora correct? -
Resolution
Solution:
1. Stat central agent:
Go to http://sca-server:8080/stat-config and change the DB info that will be stored in the standalone-full.xml file.
2. Stat windows client:The new tns entry needs to be in their tnsnames.ora file. If the alias name is the same, then there is no need to update the editini.exe file.
