Exception error adding a job to Inspect SGA group using a single Oracle instant client: "Object r
Description

Using a machine with a single Oracle instant client, Optimizer can connect to database however, when a group is created in Inspect SGA, the following exception error occurs when adding a job to this group:
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
Resolution

WORKAROUND:
Install a full Oracle client from: http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/database/oracle10g/index.html
STATUS:
Waiting for fix to be released in a future version of SQL Optimizer for Oracle.
