Title
Keep getting Login dialog when trying to connect. It keeps prompting for username and password. -
Description
When trying to login, the login window keeps popping up. The username and password are correct, but Toad does not seem to accept it.

Cause
Attempted connection to a z/OS database. This is not supported -
Resolution
Standalone SQL Optimizer for DB2 LUW only supports connections to a db2 database on Linux, Unix and Windows. A Toad for db2 z/os Xpert key will be required to optimize sql in a z/OS database and the XPERT commercial installer (which includes Optimizer for z/OS) can be downloaded here.
