"Ora-03113" and "Session Manager: GetSession - Index out of bounds" error when switching sessions (4257204)

When working on SQL Navigator's Code Editor or DB Navigator and switching sessions between database connections, the following error is shown in the Output window:

ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
Session Manager: GetSession - Index out of bounds

Closing SQL Navigator throws a pop-up window with the following message:

Problem:
Session Manager: GetSession - Index out of bounds
Solution:
Error disconnecting from . Please report the problem to your System Administrator, or Quest Support if necessary.

Oracle client connection got killed or disconnected and SQL Navigator was not able to recover.

WORKAROUND:

Reconnect to the database by logging in again.

STATUS:

Waiting for fix in a future release of SQL Navigator for Oracle.
