How to convert the sysdate timezone to a local timezone? -
Description
When running a query against the sysdate, it returns the local time (e.g. London) of the Oracle database server. Is it possible to convert it to a local timezone where SQL Navigator is installed on (e.g. in Japan)?

Resolution
Sysdate function is used to retrieve the Oracle server's local system date/time. If you want to convert it to some other timeszone, do the following:
Let us say Japan is 8 hours ahead of London, so run:
select sysdate + 8/24 from dual;
