PL/SQL Formatter Error is not indenting correctly -
Description
Even though the format options insertion of tabs is selected with a tab size of 4 and the indenting option is set to 4, when you format code, the indenting uses the default of 3 and no tabs are inserted. -
Cause
This is a problem when v7.0 tries to load the FormatterOptions.opt from v6.7 -
Resolution
Please manually load the new xml format options file in the formatter options windows. This should solve the problem.
WORKAROUND:
1. Open Tools | Formatter Tools | Formatting Options;
2. Click Open button and select FmtOptions.opt.xml to load it into the formatter;
3. Verify the options after loading;
4. Close formatter options windows and now all options should work as expected.
