I have installed the SQL Navigator 6.2.1 Trial
When I launch the application, I get the following error message:
"Problem:
Only trial keys may be entered for this version
Solution:
Please make sure you have entered valid authorization code."
I have never entered a key. Clicking OK to this message does not lead me into Navigator. I am never prompted for a license key.
Workaround 1:
Do a Windows search on your computer (Start | Search) for "install.key". When found, rename this file and start SQL Navigator again.
Keep in mind that a trial install of Navigator will not accept a commercial license key. If you have a commercial key, please download the commercial version from http://support.quest.com, Downloads and Documentation.

Workaround 2:
1. Look for the file QSAuthorize12.key which is located in user document folder:
On Win 7: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\SQL Navigator XP and others: C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Quest Software\SQL Navigator
2. Rename the QSAuthorize12.key file, then start up the trial version, they will get prompted for the trial key.
This is also true in SQL Navigator 6.5 trial.
