is it possible to filter out deadlock alerts for a specific server and database if there is a need to ignore these but continue to watch the other databases on the server ? -
Resolution
Spotlight supports disabling deadlock alarm for a specific server, but cannot do it for specific database.
There is already an enhancement request in place to disable deadlock alarm for specific database.
Steps to disable deadlock alarm for specific server:
1. Go to Configure- Alarms
2. Select the specific sql server you want to disable deadlock alarm in “Select the connection to configure”
3. Select Locks-Deadlocks, check “Override the default setting… and check “Disable this alarm”
4. Click Ok.
