As Spotlight does not want to take up too much space on the drive, Spotlight restricts to 2 days worth of collections. In the event that the upload fails for more than 2 days, the earliest collections will be deleted as the new ones are added.
This will continue until there is a successful upload, or Lucy is disabled. That means data remains for 3 days for Lucy at most.
Disk space, where the Diagnostic Server is located can be extended. For example, it could be on disk "C" or "D".
Lucy data, and report data(when Diagnostic Server fails to connect to Spotlight Statistic Repository) will be written to disk C, so extending other disks will not help.
Alternatively, please follow this work around:
1) Go to <DS dir>\Agent\data\lucy.
2) Delete files *.xml, which will save some space.
3) Go to <DS dir>\Agent\bin.
4) Open SpotlightDiagnosticServer.ini . Add space and "-Dcom.quest.adk.topSQLConnectionRowLimit=100" to the end of first row, the vaues will be edited as follows:
e.g. original is "-Xms128m" "-Xmx2048m". then "-Xms128m" "-Xmx2048m" "-Dcom.quest.adk.topSQLConnectionRowLimit=100".
5) Save that file, restart Diagnostic Server Service .
