Description
We have SoSSE 7.0.1 with 3 SQL connections configured; All three connections work (sql 2000, sql 2005, sql 2008 R2) and show data on Home page. SQL Analysis is working for the 2000 and 2005 connections but not for the 2008 connection.
History shows this message: Collection Deadlock List failed Timeout expired The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.
On SQL Analysis tab: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.

Resolution
WORKAROUND
This issue was caused by a problem with the account used to run the Diagnostic Server (DS) service and was resolved by changing to a different Domain account. Please verify the account used to run the DS service meets requirements in the product documentation.
