How to limit consuming of resources for SQL Analysis to have minimal impact to system. -
Description
SQL Analysis consumes lot of resources and increasing load on the server. Does exist any way how to reduce this impact? -
Cause
SQL Analysis is always time consuming. This feature is switched off by default. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND:
none
RESOLUTION:
1) Concentrate on specific operation, application or users using filters to minimize consuming of resources.
2) You can also set specific time during off-peak hour where collection can be made.
3) Using sampling Server Side trace is less consuming than continuous Rowset trace.
