When in Spotlight you may notice you are missing your OS information.
You have checked your permissions and you are an OS admin on the server.
When you look at the status alarms for Spotlight you will see the following error:
Procedure failed: WMI query Win32_perf failed. Invalid class
You are able to see SQL Server information in Spotlight.
WORKAROUND:
Some users may experience problems when trying to connect to certain types of WMI counters. The error message they get is:
80041010: Invalid Class
In most cases, the problem occurs when some required WMI classes are not properly registered in the Windows system. The solution is to (re-)register all the WMI classes.
To do so open a command prompt on the PC that you want to monitor and run the following comand:
For Windows 2000
winmgmt /resyncperf
For Windows XP and 2003
wmiadap /f
