Resolution
WORKAROUND 1:
Enable use of Extended Events:Select Configure | Diagnostic Server option from top ribbon bar. Select "Enable use of Extended Events" option and enable this setting.
WORKAROUND 2:
For higher versions of Spotlight, select the connection name from connection tree and right-click to select Properties. Enable 'Use Extended Events' option.
WORKAROUND 3:
Restart Diagnostic Server services.
