Email alert details generated by Spotlight indicates different information from the one found in Spotlight's Alarm Log.
For example, the email alert contains the following alarm notification:
"Dedicated servers (Latch free waits) has a value of 0"
While the Alarm Log for the same alert time indicates the following:
"Latch waits are 37.56% of non-idle wait time (averaged over 5 minutes)"
WORKAROUND
On the email alert message, change the contents from:
Spotlight alarm notification:
Connection: {Connection}
Time: {TimeEntered}
Action: {Action}
Severity: {Severity}
{ControlName} ({Metric}) has a value of {Value}
Connection: {Connection}
Time: {TimeEntered}
Action: {Action}
Severity: {Severity}
{Details}
The last line has been changed from "{ControlName} ({Metric}) has a value of {Value}" to simply {Details}
