Description
When a user connects with the Operating System user option, the error is thrown:
Unix(SSH) connection error: Failed to connect to server.
Error code: 3114
Reason :Login credentials are incorrect -
Cause
Logging via Vintela is not supported

Resolution
The third-party component for SSH connections does not support single sign on / the Kerberos authentication method.
Enhancement request ST5876 has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of <product name>.

Even though it references Solaris, it will apply equally to HP-UX platforms.
In the meantime, the workaround is to make the Spotlight OS connection use an OS account (Solaris or HP-UX) locally configured on the server that is to be monitored. -
