"The Unix datasource is not installed" -
Description
When logging in to Spotlight the following error is thrown:
"The following error(s) occurred in <connection> during connection: The Unix datasource is not installed. Do you want to proceed and connect without the mentioned datasource(s)" -
Cause
Possibly a connection profile error or Spotlight installation corruption.

Resolution
WORKAROUND 1:
Delete the connection profile and recreate it.
WORKAROUND 2:
Uninstall the current Spotlight on Oracle and install/upgrade to a newer version.
