Atable reorganizationjob or a table partition job is pending switch approval, and the Oracle database serveris shutdown for maintenance.
How to recoverthe LiveReorgjob once the database server is back online and the Quest Server Agent is up?
If a live reorganization or partitioning job is pendingapproval,DML activity can continue against the table. This is the case whether the table is being reorganized with the online switch or the T-lock switch. Quest Server Agent restarts the execution from the statement on which it failed. Live transactions are posted to the reorganized copy table when the script is restarted.
Use the following procedures to restart reorganization and partitioning scripts:
To restart a script with the Restart function:
1. In Space Manager console, Right-click on an interrupted script in the Scripts/Job Monitor and select Restart.
2. When a prompt shows Do you want to restart a script immediately? Click Yes button. Execution begins immediately.
