Running sp_ctrl from app-modules directory gives error “Unable to find library library_name”</ (4331026)

The following errors are observed when invoking sp_ctrl from app-modules directory (the sample output is from a particular version of Shareplex though other versions may also have similar output, though not identical):

OR

./sp_ctrl
ld.so.1: ./sp_ctrl: fatal: libspshareplex.so.7.5.2.1: open failed: No such file or directory

The command needs to be invoked using the launcher . It gets the invalid library error as the envirnoment is not set up.

Syntax to invoke the command from app-modules directory:

./launcher sp_ctrl

This sets up the envirnoment for sp_ctrl to be launched using the approriate libraries.

The command can be invoked from bin directory under the product directory of Shareplex .  

 [spadmin@NAME]/plexvar/7.0/prod/bin

> sp_ctrl

 This is applicable to Shareplex versions  6.0 and up.
