Dumping the current objcache (4329384)

Shareplex for Oracle Version 4.0 and above: To determine the current configuration of objects in the current objcache (ie. utilization of primary or unique keys)

The procedures needed to dump the objcache and review the contents:

1) Go to the $PRODDIR/util directory (here you will find the program dumpfile)
2) Run ./dumpfile -o (for output) <path/filename you wish to call> will default to current directory if just list name
(example= ./dumpfile -o /tmp/objcache.out) this will create an output file called objcache.out in the /tmp directory
3) You'll see a screen requesting your choice of file to dump
4) Choose (4) dump objcache
5) You will be prompted to : Enter input file name: <this is the full location path of the objcache in the /vardir/state/(objcache file name)
(example: /support/s213/var/state/objcache.25

NOTE: If dumping the target objcache file, you will need the full long objcache name
(example: /support/s213/var/state/0x0a0101a6+PP+suntrain2+sp_opst+o.quest-o.quest-objcache.25
