The copy command results in No active configuration exist and A source SID must be specified. -
Description
The following error messages are generated when the copy command is run:
sp_ctrl > copy table2
No active configuration exists
A source SID must be specified

Cause
The command has been issued from target sp_ctrl.

Resolution
The copy command needs to be issued from source sp_ctrl. Re-issue it from source sp_ctrl after making sure that the launcher has been started from target sp_ctrl. The sequence of commands is:
target:
sp_ctrl>start launcher
source:
sp_ctrl>copy owner.source_table_name (This is the simplest syntax. Other options are optional or needed as per the specific needs)
