Cause
The auditing facility is unable to write to the AUDIT_TRAIL table. If this error occurs, SQL statements that are currently being audited may also fail. This error will occur if the SYSTEM tablespace runs out of disk space. -
Resolution
Check the audit file location as given in the init.ora file. Then check for the free space in that mount file and add space as needed prior to restarting Read. This should resolve the issue.
There can be other reasons for seeing the error but this is one of them.
