Description

When “copy status” is issued after successfully starting a copy with force option, the following errors are observed:
sp_ctrl > copy status 1 for target_server_name@o.targetSID
Splex owner not defined for target_server_name@o.targetSID
Define splex owner by running ora_setup
Cause

The ora_setup has not been run for target.
Resolution

Run ora_setup for the Shareplex user in question on the target and then run the copy.
