Shareplex for Oracle
When activating in Shareplex 3.0 or Shareplex 3.2 using multithreaded option:
10/23/01 17:50 Error: sp_tconf(rom) (for o.w122u queue *) 1 - Error logging onto database 20
This is ORA-20--maximum number of processes exceeded. -
Resolution
Two ways to resolve the problem:
1. Increase PROCESSES in init.ora. This will require bouncing the database.
2. Try to activate with less number of threads.
