Does Shareplex support alter table-add partition or alter table-drop partition DDL commands?

ALTER TABLE EXCHANGE PARTITION is not supported.

Alter table-add partition , alter table move partition and alter table-drop partition DDL commands are replicated . When the table is in replication it has to be re-activated when you add a partition for the data to be replicated. The ddl is replicated but the data for the new partition is not replicated until you reactivate.

NOTE: After adding or making changes to a partition, the configuration must be reactivated. If you did not reactivate when you made the partition changes, first resynchronize the object(s) using a method of your choice, then reactivate the configuration using default multi-threaded activation (not live).

If you did reactivate the configuration, but you used live activation, the partition change
was not recognized nor its data replicated. Partition changes are not supported by live
activation. Resynchronize the object(s), then reactivate using default multi-threaded
activation.
