Would like to get the SCN of the source database when the post is stopped, either by stop post or flush o.sid.
Can be used when resyncing or recovering a target database to a specific SCN.
Normally stopping post does not give the scn where post was stopped. When debug is set on post the scn for the last commit is displayed in the opo log.
setting debug on the post
sp_ctrl> set param SP_OPO_DEBUG_FLAG 0x0f0021ff
turning off debug
sp_ctrl> reset param SP_OPO_DEBUG_FLAG
when set the debug, opo log will show the scn for the last commit. In this case search the opo log for the queue in question from the botton and the first instance of ODR_COMMIT will show the scn in this case the scn is 463156979. If multiple queues are present then each queue will have a different scn for the last commit.
