Cause
Used incorrect SharePlex binaries, used 10g binary for 8i database

Resolution
1. Download proper SharePlex binaries
2. Install appropriate SharePlex binaries
3. Apply required patches
4. Run Ora_setup
5. Retry activation -
Additional Information
SharePlex binaries for 10g have new columns added to its internal tables. Therefore, gets ORA-00904: invalid column name error.
