Running Replicator powershell commands if .net framework 4.0 is present on SP2010 farm

Symptom
You get the following error when trying to run a Replicator command in the Replicator Mangement Shell: PS C:\Windows\system32> write-replicatorinfo write-replicatorinfo : Microsoft SharePoint is not supported with version 4.0.30319.18047 of the Microsoft .Net Runtime.
Cause
This is a SharePoint Issue. It occurs because .Net Framework 4.0 is installed on the SharePoint 2010 farm, causing it to use a default of version 3 when running cmlets, instead of version 2. Because Replicator accesses SharePoint’s API through PowerShell, Replicator requires the same workaround as SharePoint 2010 Management Shell.
In the SharePoint 2010 Management Shell window run the following command to enable Replicator Management Shell within the SharePoint 2010 Management Shell:
