October 2021 - Certain security vendors falsely reporting RemoteScanEnterpriseASP.exe as malicious
Description
On October 11, 2021, it was brought to the attention of Quest that certain security vendors have recently reported RemoteScanEntperpriseASP.exe as potentially malicious or harmful to install.
Resolution
RemoteScanEnterpriseASP.exe is safe to use. This is the installation file used to install RemoteScan Enterprise. We are currently addressing these security
reports with these vendors as false positives.
